Amelia and Lauren both have played softball every summer for the past five years. They both enjoy it a ton and have improved by leaps and bounds over the years. With both of them playing on different teams because they are in different age levels, we have a very busy spring and summer. Luckily most of there games are on different days or at different times, but we do have the occasional day where they both have a game at the same time on opposite ends of the town! Makes for a very busy taxi driver, aka Mom ;) Terry usually meets us there after work to watch the games, but occasionally he is the fill in pick up taxi driver when the regular one is scheduled to work elsewhere, aka the hospital ;) These are a few pictures of Amelia's game last week, soon I'll get some pics of Lauren for another post.
She got to pitch this game in the 4th inning. Only girls who want to pitch are put in this position. All the other positions are rotated between everyone.

Hangin' in the outfield, not one of her favorite positions. It can get quite boring out there!
Number 8 up to bat, it's a hit!
Getting a pep talk from the coach in the on deck circle.
And one final shot of the pitcher in action.
